I purchased a two month supply from E Foods Direct in 2012; and I just cracked open my first pouch of cheesy chicken rice OMG, it was the worst tasting dish Ive ever had Tasted like I was eating it right out of the Salton Sea?! Now Im finding out that theyre no longer in business??? So here I am stuck with two cases, a two month supply of 25 your food, that more than likely all of it is no good! I am pissed Spent good money, only to find out theyre freaking food, is rotten!!! WHAT THE HECK?! WHAT DO I DO NOW???

We purchased two totes and have had them for several years, still well prior to the expiration date. They were stored in a cool, dry place.We recently tried one and it was awful. The contents of both totes have been discarded along with the drink mixes. But, hey, we got two sturdy totes out of it, smh. I wonder if dried beans and grains, Mylar bags and oxygen absorbers arent the way to go?

Ive opened numerous different packages of my properly stored products from efoods. They all taste like some toxic chemicals. Poison would be a great description. The Tropical Fruit Medley, Oatmeal, Granola, soups, etc. everything is disgusting. If I were to consume it I most certainly would be ill. That would be a nightmare IRL situation where it was a necessity for survival. Ive also opened foods purchased at the same time and stored in the same space from My Patriot Pantry and they are DELICIOUS !

I’m in the same boat. Spent 5000 in 2012 for a year supply food.

I’m opening each packet and it’s horrible, especially the meals that contain cheese.

There are no oxygen absorbers what so ever. I’m very pissed.

Bought in 2013. Rancid by 2020, when we needed it. Terrible company. Smelled metallic, tasted awful. The only thing salvageable was the pasta shells and pudding. $750 down the drain.

I bought a ton of this food over the years!!! What a waste of money! First thing I noticed was foil inside the bread mix was flaking off! YUCK Never got to use any of this food that supposedly was good for 25 years!! What a rip off!! I couldn't reach them on the phone so don't know if they are still in business!

Rotten bloated cans and rancid spoiled food

Opened this up in 2021 in the winter blizzard of Texas 2021, and as we began to open up cans, many were inedible. The popcorn lasted though, my entire lot was packaged in 2008. 1 year supply for family of 4. I have shelves and shelves of boxes of #10 cans to open, but so far of the three we have opened, one is rancid banana chips and fruit we were looking forward too now that there is no foods in the grocery stores! The bloated cans were thrown away without opening; raisins, chicken broth and tomato powder, all which we are needing. The other thing I noticed is this companies heavy reliance on SOY(TVP, oil, flavorings). There is no meat in their quick fix meals, and tons of wheat and flavorings and preservatives, coloring and artificial flavorings. Efoods Direct, J Michael Stevens and or The Maple Leaf Company really let us all down. Me to the tune of $8000+ and put my family's self reliance at risk.

All $1400. worth of food I ordered was supposed to be good for 25 to 30 years. After 9 years I decided to check some of mine out after reading some reviews from other customers. Every package was rancid and smelled horrible. No wonder they are no longer in business.

Bought 2 totes of breads, muffin and corn meal roll mixed in 2012. Took inventory today and the packaging has broken down. Powder spilled out of rotted bags. Stinks. What a total waste of money. The company appears to be out of business.

We purchased two totes 8-10 years ago, and have stored them in a cool, dry place. We recently tried some and have discarded all contents of both. Oh well, at least we got two totes out of it………..

Bought 6 crates of stuff. Beef stroganoff was rancid when I opened crate. To the owners of EFoods, you should make good and refund customers. But based on reviews it seems futile that you have a conscience. Therefore Karma will have to take its course.

I am with you. I bought 5 grab n go and 6 months stored food for a family of 5.

Any word on refunds? They had a relationship with Berkey Water Filters back in 2008.
